BP 4

     This lectures was about water environment. how we can save water in difference ways such as short showers, low water requirements, less water to produce, and water conservation practices. most of the water we use in our house. For example, taking showers, dish wash, and bathroom. we can save water if we put a plastic bottle filled with water in our toilet tank to reduce the amount of water used per flush. Eat foods that requires less water to produce. we used to amount of water in animal products and processed foods like soda and chips far exceeds the amount used for growing vegetable and grains.  Our water footprint and accounts for most of the water we use. Here are the water footprints for a few everyday items: one hamburger = 660 gallons, one gallon of milk = 880 gallons, one cup of coffee = 37 gallons, one cotton shirt = 713 gallons.www.h2oconserve.org. and action.foodandwaterwatch.org/p/dia/action/public/?action_KEY=5935.
